I had a relaxing trip with friends at The Village Resort Bogor, enjoying the natural surroundings and the cool morning climate near Gunung Salak. The resort featured nice facilities, including two pools and plenty of open space for my kids to play. However, I did encounter some issues with cleanliness and food quality that were disappointing.
The room had some cleanliness issues, including hair left in the bathroom, and maintenance problems like a leaky sink. Though spacious, it could definitely use some attention.
While the staff were friendly and welcoming, the service was inconsistent. For instance, towels were not replaced during my stay, and I had to wait quite a while at the reception due to limited staff availability.
The location is fantastic, surrounded by nature and perfect for a getaway from Jakarta. The climate was a pleasant mix of cool and warm, making the experience enjoyable.
The food was decent but primarily Sundanese, and I found the service at meal times to be disorganized, with drinks often coming out after the food.
I was excited about the pools, but unfortunately, one was under repair and the other was neglected. Overall, the facilities could use better upkeep.

I had a mixed experience at The Village Resort Bogor. The surroundings were beautiful, near Gunung Salak, which made for a relaxing getaway. but certain facilities fell short, particularly the pools and dining options. The staff was friendly, but service issues detracted from the overall stay.
I stayed in the Executive Suite. While the room had good potential, it showed signs of neglect, with issues like a leaking sink and a dirty bathroom. It could definitely use better maintenance.
The staff was polite and welcoming, but the service was inconsistent. I experienced delays and issues during my stay, including long wait times at reception due to staffing shortages. This could use significant improvement.
The resort's location is its standout feature, providing a serene atmosphere surrounded by nature. I enjoyed the cool morning weather, making it an ideal spot for a brief escape from city life.
The dining options were disappointing. The food leaned mostly towards Sundanese cuisine, and the waitstaff seemed untrained. It was frustrating having drinks arrive only after the meal was finished.
The resort offered good facilities like two pools and ample outdoor space for kids to play, though unfortunately both pools were not usable during my stay. Maintenance of these areas needs urgent attention.

I recently stayed at The Village Resort in Bogor, and it offered a refreshing escape from Jakarta, especially with the serene backdrop of Gunung Salak. The environment was pleasant and the architecture looked good, which I really appreciated. However, there were significant drawbacks, such as the lack of hot water and maintenance issues in the pools and rooms. Overall, while it has potential, some improvements are necessary for a truly enjoyable experience. 🌄🏊♂️
The room I stayed in was clean but had some maintenance issues, such as leaking sinks and broken curtains. It was not up to par with what I expected.
Although the staff had friendly smiles, the service was inconsistent, especially during busy times. I often found myself waiting too long for basic services.
The resort is nestled in a green area, making it a great escape from the city noise. The climate in the morning was a wonderful mix of cool and warm.
The dining experience was decent, focusing primarily on Sundanese dishes, but I felt the quality could be improved significantly.
Despite having two pools, both were either unavailable or poorly maintained. This was disappointing as it was a key feature of my stay.

I had a mixed experience at The Village Resort Bogor. The natural surroundings were beautiful, especially with the view of Gunung Salak. However, the overall cleanliness and maintenance left much to be desired, which dampened my stay a bit.
The room cleanliness was a significant issue, as I found previous visitors' hair in the bathroom, and the air conditioning wasn't working properly. Despite the spaciousness, I expected better upkeep.
Though the staff were friendly and welcoming, the service was slow, especially during busy periods when I had to wait for assistance. The maintenance crew seemed absent, which added to the frustration.
The resort is nestled in a lovely natural setting, which I really appreciated. The cool climate in the mornings made it a peaceful getaway from Jakarta, perfect for relaxation.
The food was decent, with a focus on Sundanese cuisine, but I found the service quite lacking. Sadly, my dining experience was overshadowed by slow service and mistakes with orders.
The promised swimming pools were both out of service, which was disappointing since that was one of the reasons I wanted to stay. Additionally, my room had minor issues like a leaking sink and a broken curtain.
